saturday morning as you get going. 41degrees that's cool in fremont. bay area weekend looks good. temperatures are going to be above the average in many locations. this is the isotherm map. greens are 60s. yellows are 70s. so look what's happening. is this exact? no it's just kind of broad. but gives you an idea. santa rosa it will give you some low 70s up there in the napa valley. out toward concord. a lot of mid- and upper 60s. along the coast, i think the cooling here is a result of that coastal fog that's going to be hanging there. i think the coast will be clear in the afternoon but the fog will keep thing as little chilly and the breeze will be keeping things down. a warming trend then you knew that. today temperatures came up as they go into saturday and sunday. temperatures continue to go up. as we go into tuesday, monday and tuesday temperatures continue to warm up. a nice looking pattern ahead. and we'll be up into the 70s as we head into part of next week. when i come back we're going to get specific with these forecast highs like what is it going to be in your city tom

san francisco 48 and fremont 45 and starting out sunday or monday morning 44. here is the next storm tracking out here in the pacific developing and by the time it gets to the bay area it will split. we don't expect extreme rain but tomorrow it's dry but you'll notice filtered sunshine throughout the day tomorrow and mild conditions. tuesday the system is close enough to bring in more clouds, chance of scattered showers and off on on tuesday into wednesday especially for the wednesday morning commute. here is our forecast model. we'll take this into monday morning at 8:00. partly cloudy and clouds filter in by 4:00 and by 5:00 still dry and look what happens as we take this into tuesday. tuesday, 10:00 and 11:00 and showers begin, a chance moving into the region by the afternoon hours. those chances on the increase wednesday morning. tomorrow under partly to mostly cloudy another day of mild temperatures and will be in the upper 50s to the 60s warmest locations around 70 degrees out towards santa rosa and san francisco lower 60s and san jose 69 and 63. here is

san rafael 44, fremont 44. we are finishing february on a dry note. kpix 5 hi-def doppler is dry once again. look at all the rainfall. there's another storm system moving through. there have been three this week all of them missing us to the north. heavy rainfall for the pacific northwest. zero rainfall for us. but that's going to change after tomorrow. tomorrow we get the offshore wind out of the northeast. so we'll start march off on a warm note tomorrow. low 70s perhaps even in downtown san francisco. that's about a dozen degrees milder than today. high pressure then begins to move out. the onshore flow is back and by tuesday, the first of many fronts is going to move through. it will be much cooler and much wetter coming up next week and that big change occurs next tuesday. so sunny and warm tomorrow. clouds increase a bit over the weekend as we drop back down to the 60s and much wetter weather next week. look at the highs tomorrow. livermore 71. san jose 72. we're looking at 73 for morgan hill. san mateo you'll hit 70. concord you'll hit 70. san
